Every two seconds someone needs blood. Behind that number are real people in need of lifesaving care, and countless more who love and depend on them. With this constant demand for blood and in support of our mission as servant leaders, Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. has agreed to partner with the American Red Cross for a sustainable and ongoing nationwide blood program. We are asking for support from our chapters and alumni members to participate by working with the American Red Cross to meet... the goal of 2000 collected units of blood per year. As men of Lambda Chi Alpha, we embrace any assistance we can offer that prevents vulnerable patients from being at risk of insufficient blood supplies to treat unexpected trauma, and chronic illnesses like sickle cell and chronic diseases like cancer. Lambda Chi Alpha has joined forces with the American Red Cross and is pleased to play a vital role in saving lives. The American Red Cross will work with our chapters to set up, train and execute blood drives with the identified local blood program leader and leadership liaisons. We also urge every chapter, alumni member, and the Office of Administration team to promote the blood drive events and recruit blood donors from our network to join in this vital community service effort.
